Svan is like Georgian, a Kartvelian language, and many people claim that Svan has preserved much of what Georgian has lost. Both languages originate from one joint language, but the languages split in the 2nd millenium BC. The half-day course gives a short and clear introduction to the language. You learn a series of words and phrases that can be useful during your stay. Registration for the course through the hotel at least one week in advance is necessary.
