  • Svan felt hat making course

One of the most characteristic pieces of clothing which Svan men wear, are their felt hats. The hats are usually grey with black seams. The black seams are shaped like a cross and can be linked to one of the Svan ways of greeting: ”May the cross protect you.”  During the course you will hear more about the traditions behind the felt hats. At the end of the course, everybody will get their own felt hat. Registration for the course is a couple of days in advance through the hotel.
